Always protect your eyes and skin when handling Sodium Hydroxide. Please note that a maximum of 18 x 950g containers can be purchased in any one order. If Sodium Hydroxide gets onto your skin rinse well with lots of water and a mild acid such as vinegar may help to neutralise the very strong alkaline. Always add the Sodium Hydroxide slowly to water. Do not breath in the fumes that are omitted when Sodium Hydroxide is added to water and please be aware that when added to water that the chemical reaction produces a lot of heat.
