We use UK Mail and Royal Mail for most of our deliveries however occasionally we may have to use an alternative courier for some post codes.

The costs displayed for postage also include packaging and all costs involved with packing your parcel to posting it and also the cost involved with taking payment for the Postage and Packaging costs, we do however try to keep our delivery fees as low as we possibly can.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to recent price increases from courier services if you are in the areas of Isle Of Man, Scottish Highlands, Northern Ireland or Isle Of Wight please contact us as we may be able to find a cheaper postage option depending on parcel dimensions and weight. 

Delivery times vary and we do have a processing period prior to dispatch, this can be anywhere between one hour after the order has been placed up to four working days. Some of our items are handmade and can take time to make before dispatch is possible.

Once collected from us UK Mail will deliver your parcel either next working days (Not Saturdays, Sunday or Bank holidays)  or in two working days. Please note that couriers occasionally fail to deliver when they say they will, this can be due to extreme weather conditions in part of the country, traffic delays and on occasions where a driver has failed to locate a property. If you do encounter any problems in the first instance please do contact us and we will speak with the courier company on your behalf. 

Royal Mail parcels are posted second class for parcels up to 1.5kg in weight and as long as the parcel meets the size requirements of Royal Mail, again the same processing time is involved and delivery from the time the parcel is taken to the post office is between 2 and 5 working days. Occasionally we will use a signed for service.

PLEASE NOTE: that where an incorrect address has been entered this may cause delay or in some cases returned back to us. The Crafters Shop is not responsible for this. DHL charge £12 per returned parcel to us however Royal Mail do return at no extra cost. Any refund given will be less the charge for return delivery. In the event that a parcel has not been delivered within 3 days of the dispatch email when the courier service has been selected please email us and we will investigate. Royal Mail do not consider a parcel lost until 15 working days have passed, in the vent that your parcel has not been delivered in 5 working days after the dispatch email, please do make us aware, there is little that we can do but we will help where we can.
