Black Beauty Mica Cosmetic Grade. This mica is stable in a high alkaline environment so suitable for cold process soap although we haven't tested in CP soap. When used in Soap Base the mica performed well and has retained its colour in the soap. When tested in wax a lot of mica had to be used to gain a good black colour.

When using in bath bombs, Polysorbate 80 is required to prevent residue colour being left in the bath.
